E Business is the framework your organization has for its web strategy and e-commerce is one component of the bigger picture. Here is what we did for one customer .
We built and e commerce website to enable sales and payment transaction - this was integrated into the customers' MS SQL based custom-built inventory system. The payment system was integrated into the customers Quick Books accounting package. Yet, with multiple shipping locations, there was chaos in the way orders (offline and online) were handled many of which fell through the cracks; so we designed a web based workflow solution that centralized everything and connected it directly to their FedEx account |
